When a parent has cancer, some of the hardest moments often aren’t in hospital rooms, they’re at home. After dinner. Before bed. When a child asks a question, no parent feels ready to answer.
Nankind was founded to help parents balance being a parent and patient. Through free childcare, Teddy Bear Clinics, and Peer Support Groups, we help families talk about cancer in ways kids can understand. Parents tell us their children feel calmer, more included, and more resilient after connecting with our support.
