Toronto, ON (September, 28, 2021) – The Nanny Angel Network (NAN) is proud to announce Angels & Heroes & Bears, Oh My!, a family-friendly, fun-filled daytime outdoor event taking place Sunday October 3rd, 2021 at the Toronto Zoo. Funds raised from the event will go directly to help lessen the impact of cancer on families. The Nanny Angel Network is the only charitable organization in Canada that provides free in-home and virtual childcare support to moms with cancer and their children. NAN supports moms with cancer by matching families with specially trained volunteers that give kids the social and emotional tools to navigate their mom’s cancer journey and build lifelong resiliency.
“With Breast Cancer Awareness month approaching we want to raise much needed awareness and funds so we can continue to support more moms with cancer and their kids,” says Audrey Guth, founder, the Nanny Angel Network. “We are so excited to share our new event Angels & Heroes & Bears, Oh My!, in lieu of our annual Angels & Heroes Gala, that will bring our community together to celebrate our supporters, volunteers and most importantly honour the moms who inspire us with their strength.”
Angels & Heroes & Bears, Oh My! Zoo Day, presented by Greenwin welcomes guests and supporters to spend time with their families while discovering over 5,000 animals from around the world at the Toronto Zoo on October 3rd, 2021. Attendees will include the Deputy Mayor of Toronto Ana Bailão and Bershan Shaw from The Real Housewives of New York City. Guests will be treated to an adventurous day including a gourmet picnic lunch, wild encounters, activities and one big scavenger hunt! This outdoorbased event will follow current COVID-19 public health protocols to ensure the safety of everyone.
