Board of Directors

Audrey Guth, Chair of the Board of Directors, is the founder of Nankind and has enjoyed a successful career as an entrepreneur. She has been recognized for her contribution with several honours including being named a CNN Hero, L’Oreal Woman of Worth, and winner of the Astellas C3 prize. Audrey holds a Master’s degree in Nutrition and a graduate certificate from the Northwestern Kellogg School of Nonprofit Management. Her leadership in the nonprofit sector spans over 16 years.

Joyce Frustaglio, Vice Chair of the Board of Directors and Chair of Fundraising, is a former Deputy Mayor of the city of Vaughan and a Canadian Citizenship and Immigration Judge.  She has strong leadership skills and knowledge in government affairs, public policy and fundraising. Joyce has chaired the annual Angels and Heroes Gala since 2015 raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for the organization. Along with her role at Nankind, Joyce serves as a board member of the Mackenzie Hospital Foundation.

Jenn, as Director of Affordable Housing and Corporate Social Responsibility at Greenwin Corp., supports the strategic development of affordable housing initiatives and leads corporate social responsibility projects. She actively participates in Holocaust education initiatives with the March of the Living.  She holds an Honors degree in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business. Jenn honours her mother’s legacy by serving on Nankind’s Board of Directors

Sean is an experienced entrepreneur with a passion for advising organizations committed to ambitious change. As the Founder and Managing Director of Wierd(A)dvisory, he leads a team of exceptional interdisciplinary thinkers and doers driving significant business transformations, including in healthcare. Prior to founding W(A), Sean got his start on Bay Street, working with many of the world’s most respected brands. He holds an Honours Arts degree in Philosophy with special distinctions from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo.

Jennifer, with over 15 years of experience in healthcare, particularly in oncology and pediatric oncology, holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemistry. As the Global Director of Regulatory Affairs Oncology, she is dedicated to improving the treatment experience for cancer patients and their support networks. Her involvement with Nankind aligns with her passion for lessening the social and emotional impact of cancer on families. Jennifer’s contribution to the board strengthens our collective mission to make a meaningful difference.

Anne Feehely, Associate General Counsel at BMO Financial Group Canada, specializes in Intellectual Property, Legal Advice, and Document Drafting. She holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Queen’s University and has over 10 years of experience at BMO Financial Group, serving as both Senior Counsel and Associate General Counsel. Throughout her career, she has held positions at organizations including Metrolinx, TELUS, RainMaker Group, and McCarthy Tétrault. Anne’s commitment to Nankind’s mission is a family matter, as both daughters volunteer with the organization.

Shauna Guth is the President of Diamond Personnel Inc., the most trusted Nanny, Caregiver, and Household Staffing Agency in Canada. She is also a founding Board Member of Nankind. Diamond Personnel Inc. has been operating since 1988, providing Canada’s most discerning families with high-quality recruitment services. Shauna Guth holds a Master’s degree in Criminology from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor’s degree with Honours from the University of Kings College.

Azam Dawood is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in procurement, outsourcing, and negotiations. He is currently serving as the Head of Sourcing at BMO Financial Group in Toronto, Canada. His experience also extends to restructuring companies, as evidenced by his leadership in a broad-scale restructuring program at Flying Colours International., Azam has also earned certificates from Harvard Business School in Fintech, Northwestern University in Governance for Non-Profit Organizations, and an MBA from the University of Warwick – Warwick Business School.

J. Nadia Headley is a seasoned professional with a diverse range of experience in various organizations, including Executive Director and Strategic Director. She holds an MA in Global Development and Social Justice and a BS in Actuarial Science from St. John’s University. Nadia’s skills include grant writing, volunteer management, and working with nonprofit organizations, demonstrating a strong background in social entrepreneurship and consultancy. Nadia was also a recipient of Nankind’s services, which lends a consumer voice to the Board.

Michael Kovendi, with top skills in auditing, accounting, and financial reporting, has held significant positions such as Chief Financial & Operations Officer at WHOOSH! and Senior Accountant at Lipton LLP Chartered Accountants. His background also includes management consulting. Michael’s strong educational background includes a Graduate Diploma in Accounting from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Business from Dalhousie University. He has a track record of generating tremendous value as a Transformative Executive & Growth Specialist
