In-home Volunteer

  • 4 hours a week.
  • Provide specialized in-home support to a family uniquely matched with you. Through Nankind’s Program for Children, you’ll build trust, create moments of joy, and help children navigate the emotional impact of their parent’s cancer.

Virtual Homework Volunteer

  • 2 hours a week.
  • Help children build confidence and overcome learning challenges. Your support will empower them to problem-solve, build confidence and feel proud of what they can achieve.

Virtual Homework Volunteer

  • 2 hours a week.
  • Connect virtually with children through Nankind’s Fun-in-a-Box program, a monthly delivery filled with four weeks of creative activities. Each session gives children the chance to build a meaningful friendship with you while exploring healthy ways to process, understand, and express their feelings about their parent’s cancer.

Auxiliary Volunteer

  • Give your time in a way that fits your schedule. Whether you’re helping to pack Fun-In-A-Box kits, supporting community events, or delivering supplies, your support helps Nankind reach more families with care and compassion, even if you’re not working directly with them.

“Volunteering at NAN means I get the chance to help families in need within my community. I can provide the parents with an opportunity to focus on themselves and provide their children with individualized support and a reliable friendship. In turn, I get to see families grow as they work through this difficult time, and it brings me happiness to be allowed into such an intimate part of their lives to witness this change.”
